My sister and her husband are celebrating their third wedding anniversary today. An amazing feat,in my opinion, considering how much they argued at the beginning. The third anniversary is the leather anniversary, by the way. Until recently, I had only heard of the silver and golden anniversary, but apparently each one has its own "theme"...or whatever you want to call it. When I get married, I think it would be a cute little tradition to exchange gifts that go along with the theme each year. This is assuming that I even get married though...the fact that my sister was 22 when she married and I'm not even dating anyone is slowly but surely giving me an ulcer. I'm really hoping that God's plan for me doesn't include a life of celibacy, but the more time that goes by the more I have to wonder. But then again, I could meet my future husband tomorrow afternoon. I will have to pencil that into my day planner: "March 10th, run into dream guy. Wear something nice." I do need to go to the grocery store tomorrow. Cruising down the frozen aisle, maybe we will both grab for the last box of blueberry toaster strudels. Our hands will graze one another. We will look up. Eyes will meet. The twinkle will not be a reflection of the flickerling fluorescent lighting. No, it will be love baby. We will fly off to Las Vegas that very night and be married at the Ali Baba Drivethru Wedding Chapel. I could be a Mrs. by the end of the week. Okay on second thought, let's hope it's not like that. Let's hope it's far from that. But if you don't hear from me for a few days, you know what happened.
On a side note, wedge shoes are going to be hot this spring, so go buy some. This applies to girls only.
